Last week seemed to go by in a flash, we had more drama’s on the yard when on the way home from Belton I had heard that Rae had had a car crash… thankfully she suffered no serious injury’s but was pretty batterd and bruised all the same. This resulted in a good few days off  for her and alot of work for the rest of us! (more…)

Almost a whole week of fine weather has resulted in the fields at home drying up enough for some turnout, galloping on the grass and getting some really good work into the horses.. it now seems that it is the jockey that needs to sharpen up, but more on that later! (more…)

No-one quite believed us when we said we had to dig the lorry out to get down to Burnham, but as the picture proves, it was no word of a lie. The forecasters had warned of some potentially inclement weather, but when it was due, all we got was torrential rain and gale force winds.. (more…)
